I wanted to like this. Good actors, cinematography beautifully makes a world. But better movies with similar theme but much more of a story. Try Petrified Forest with Humphrey Bogart and Leslie Howard. Try The Rainmaker with Burt Lancaster and Katherine Hepburn. Well, I have to say more. An isolated lonely place with a vulnerable woman. A sinister guy comes on the scene. What will happen? This movie is so hard to care about. I only liked Harry Dean Stanton, and he didn't really talk. There are better movies with similar themes. Maybe watch Bus Stop with Marilyn Monroe. I think I just like a movie with a story.

This poor movie is SO bad. I am a Christmas movie junkie, so I am predisposed to like, so it is truly bad. It looks like it was filmed in a closet, except for the lawyer's hangout bar. You will not see any tourism shots of Lafayette LA. The dialogue is completely unnatural. The requisite little girl is very cute, but her dialogue stinks too. The story is Cyrano de Bergerac. There is very little Christmas in the movie. The two leads are planning a faculty ball, which my university would never do. I had to look up the references, I don't know what age group this was aimed at. Stephen King IT, is that in literature classes now?

Jo Joyner plays the emergency responder. Why is this cast list so incomplete? This episode had a great build up of tension. Every team member got to do some acting. I loved the robot the two guys built, very McGyver or Betty Boop's Grampy. I would like to think all governments in the free world prepare with exercises like this. I like a story like this better than James Bond. Even though this episode is from long ago, it still feels very timely. Bombs and biological weapons are still ongoing concerns. I don't see how any of these characters can ever have a decent home life. Is this enough characters yet?
