How did Apartment 7A slip under my radar? Didn't get many stars on IMBD, but boy was it fun to watch this romp of a Rosemary's Baby prequel. And Julia Gardner is a true gem. Stylistic, great art direction. Honestly? I would give it a ten for escapist horror. Love seeing 1960s NY and the song and dance scenes too. This movie stands alone, or can be paired with the original and watched back to back. If you are familiar with Rosemary's Baby, the Easter Eggs scattered throughout Apt 7A are fun to notice as well. I can see myself watching this every year around Halloween time. Perhaps other people missed its brilliance, but I predict this will become a cult classic.
Swamp Lion is a hidden gem of a movie, well acted and the last 30 minutes is a roller coaster.
A particularly stellar performance by actor Dominic Hoffman as Fred, "Is your coffee thin?" recalls the bone-chilling scenes from Breaking Bad.
This Indie treasure wins out over more publicized films-- Solid writing and acting throughout. The characters are well-developed and the film pulls you into the very personal story of a family at wit's end, who are doing what they need to do to save their son.
A parable about the nation's poor health system, super-imposed upon a drug lord chase thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat--Great combination between family drama and why people turn to crime for assistance when all other avenues are tapped.

Kate Berlant's act IS that she has no act? I am not sure if this is true but it seemed that way to me. As if she talked about whatever popped into her mind, or train of thought, like that one "kookie" friend everyone has. Kookie, Kookie lend me your comb. Hey, look I have an elbow. Hey look I am a psychic. Oh is that me in the mirror? Do I need a haircut. I am an only child I wish I had a brother. Water tastes good. That chick in the audience laughs just like my former best friend. Was anyone else here born in Los Angeles? LA has blocks and streets and an ocean. Look oceans are blue and have waves. Did my mom give me a perm when I was in 5th grade Why yes. Yes, she did. I like microphones. And apples. Yeah, her act was kind of like that.
