There's no way that someone who's sober can write a script like what you'll see in this movie. There's a movie like Mr. And Mrs. Smith of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt where they push the boundaries of reality and add humor to make some fun moments. But this movie ignores all common sense and sanity to push its story going.
Usually "Sharknado" have been mentioned a the worst movie ever made, but now Argylle easily takes the mantle and sits at the top of the list of the horrible nonsensical movies. In sits there wasn't even a script to work with, they must have been filming some action scenes and then editing them together.

This is my problem with shows like Griselda, Breaking Bad, Ferry, etc: they only focus on the money-making side of drug dealing and ignore the consequences on people's lives. You see how Griselda is doing the math to get to $250K by selling just one brick, but you don't see how many lives are destroyed through addiction or how many lives are lost in the violence that follows. Some shows like Narcos manage to overcome this problem, but others fall short or prefer not to at all (Griselda is of the latter group). Shows like Griselda only glorify mobsters and violence, and encourage more at-risk kids to join gangs and enter the drugs business.
I haven't seen any of the previous Indiana Jones', so I was preparing myself for the best of them all. But didn't it disappoint? Yes it did, and big time...
First the length was twice what it needed to be. They had dragged the story by numerous and unnecessary characters to keep the mystery unrevealed, to the point that you've lost interest by the time it's clear what's it about.
Helena was too annoying to watch. Part of the turn off was about her not being any on any side of the story.
The 12 y/o pick pocket who all of a sudden can fly airplane is another mystery to me. Was he there to serve a story line or just for the sake of diversity?
A bunch of balloonis....
