As someone who watched Incident at Lake County on TV when it first came out, and Blair Witch Project in the theater on day one, I can respect and admire a film like Blue Hour. The film follows the directorial and "bad acting" traditions of Incident at Lake County, Blair Witch and even Lake Mungo. The cut scenes with reporters doing a very poor job and horrible acting with police and detectives is right out of all the best classics, and I think is deliberate. You can see the design in how the main characters perform, then in come the bad reporters and worse police.
The cinematography also pays homage to the classics. For those who rated this film badly, you need to watch the classics before you lay down the law with your bad reviews. That rule goes for any film of this genre and style. I enjoyed it and hope to see more in this style from the director.

Clive does a fantastic, unbiased job with this documentary. His narration is very professional. The collaging of events, facts, details and stories is very well thought out and pieced together. I've been watching UFO documentaries since the 1970's with the historic UFO's Are Real, read many dozens of books on the subject, and wrote a few of my own. I am very impressed and hope Clive keeps doing it. Apparently, Origins is the first in a series of six films so far. He ends them with a narrative link to what is coming in the next piece in the series. There is no WiKi page describing the series or any info on the internet as to what order to watch them in, but I think they go Origins, the Golden Record, ET or Manmade and then the three films which I can't find where to watch anywhere, UFO's over Las Vegas, Borrowed Time and The Lost Race. Tubi has Origins, Golden Record and ET or Manmade. I hope this help and I hope someone posts how to watch the last three. I posted a request for info on Reddit. These films are worth paying for. I hope they go to DVD, so I can keep copies. Thanks.
First off, this is a pure fandom film series made by people who played ALL the games and knew ALL the little things about the games that the players loved. I played these games since new, each and every one, and saw the little things they put in the show meant for true game fans; everything from the Hunk to the masked chainsaw jackal. Wesker asking for the chest device is one of these small secrets only game players would know, and the way episode seven started with the "mean" Wesker and the clones was hilarious. It is a great shame and pity there exists today a generation of "cancel-culturists" who negatively review everything while not knowing anything. Negative bullies who hate creativity because they have none and who are extremely critical of everyone around them while not owning a single mirror in their entire lives. Get a mirror, bros and sistas. Take a look at yourself before reviewing everybody else. This was a great Netflix creation and you destroyed it with your negative reviews. And to the people who made this series, I thank you a million-fold for this fandom show. Your creative new storyline and characters added to all the cool little things about the games made me love the entire show, from episode one to eight. Who was going to play Ada Wong? I bet you would have gotten that one right while all the previous movies got it wrong. And I bet you had plans for Chris Redfield and Leon to find a way into series two somewhere, maybe even just as a cameo. Thanks, cancel-culturists, you suck. Wear your mask, get your vax, and stay six feet away from other people. You are the future, and you make it look very boring.
