Most filmmakers are lucky to have made a single masterpiece. In my opinion Ram Gopal Varma has made four.
Shiva...amazing action sequences..exciting debut Satya...ferocious...absorbing Company...India's greatest crime saga....perfectly shot and acted and now Sarkar One can see the painstaking efforts taken to make each and every shot perfect. The acting is flawless. Every character is well-sketched. The editing is smooth as butter. The background score is thundering...adding to the attribute of the movie being an experience as well as a piece of entertainment...the way this movie is directed serves as a textbook to aspiring directors...the cinematography is stunning...the lighting is apt for the story (and not designed to show off..unlike in many movies) i can't say enough about the acting..i don't want to single out any performance because they ALL deserve accolades besides Black, this is the best Indian film of the year Ram Gopal Varma has done it again!

Mohanlal is the ULTIMATE simham...not one boring frame in this motion picture..his double entndre lines are delivered with aplomb!... Mamooty better get out of the way because Mohnalal is the real simham of malayalam cinema (aka keralawood
the direction is highly kinetic and the dialogues poetically beautiful...i've never seen so much ingenious use of Simham imagery..I LOVED IT!...
the songs sucked however..except that crazy one where everyone was drunk..highly entertaining!...other movies tried to capture Narasimham's MAGIC but failed miserably...there will only be one..THE SIMHAM IS IMMORTAL!

First, it was Saving Private Ryan...Then...came Catch Me If You Can...now..The Terminal...Spielberg and Hanks are a pair to be reckoned with (stop working with Cruise and stick to Hanks!!!)
these movies, along with Schindler's List (still Spielberg's best) showcase the fact that Spielberg is just at home, and slightly better with character driven films rather than big budget adventures...his technical proficiency (getting great technicians to do marvelous work), ability to extract amazing performances..and talent in making a movie watchable and entertaining (never a dull moment) really take hold of The Terminal..Tom Hanks is Oscar Worthy (as always)...i don't know y the movie did not get the acclaim it deserves...terrific ensemble acting, good pacing, innovative story,lots of emotion and heart..what can beat that?
