I can't believe how childish this show is! Dr oz brings people from the audience to participate in poking dried up body parts where a dried human liver looks identical to dried kidney! The concept is a cross between medical information and a game show with childish women! There is so much time wasted with the audience members that it becomes unbearable! The games he plays are absolutely ridiculous and instead of the information being delivered effectively there is lot of stuffing around with childish games that are tedious and end nowhere! The format of the show is again juvenile and an insult to our intelligence! I just turned over to the Dr oz show to see what topics he was addressing today and surprise surprise, it was about diets for the 10,000 th time! I think that he has addressed the subject of what constitutes a good diet enough but obviously he doesn't think so! I can't believe Oprah was associated with this show being as bad as it is!

I have attempted to watch sanctuary dozens of times and can't stand it for more than 10 minutes! I absolutely loved Amanda in stargate so watching her overact here with the worst English accent is unbearable! The story line had promise but went over the top with some of the creatures which were totally ridiculous! I did catch a few minutes the other night where a vampire like person was fighting another thing! The actors playing the parts were thin and not powerful looking even with the makeup and special effects! The fight scene was pathetic and didn't make me want to watch the show! I am a huge scifi fan and love alternative shows but this is awful! My main problem is with Amanda's accent which is so unnatural and not believable not to mention I hate most English accents anyway and I don't understand why she would be required to sound English! The other problem with the show is the storyline which falls short!

I really can't believe that this show is popular! James Lipton has wonderful guests appear on the show but his manner is so boring and stagnant that it is painful to watch! The questions that he asks the guests are typical non confrontational boring questions! On occasion James asks a good question but doesn't follow up and delve deeper! I really find James Lipton boring and his voice is aggravating! When the questions are directed by the audience the questions are even more safe and predictable! The apprentice actors in the audience don't want to offend the accomplished actor by asking a controversial question! I understand this but James Lipton could attempt to show the viewers a different side of the guest but this never happens! Boring interviewer with a boring demeanor!
