Neon Genesis evangelion Is a Show about broken people trying to fight against the end of the world, despite their own self Loathing.

Watching Evangelion is a strange experience because it's a show that changes throughout. It's not one where it just finds formula and keeps it. It is a journey through many stages of happiness, grief, sadness, isolation, fear of being left Alone, and a lot of Philosophy.

What are the best things about the show it's just hits in the feelings it hits on a primal level. Shinji ikari is the person that will break or make it for you He is a character that it's so flawed and so irritating, if you just want him to do what main characters do in this kind of shows. But if you can empathize with him just a little then, he is a wonderful viewpoint into all of these flawed teens and adults in this world.

And not to be totally gloomy, it is a fun to watch. The opening is amazing and put me in a good mood and so many of the episode Is monster of the week, where they have to find unique way to destroy the Angel. It is just a good format and it is amazingly executed. If it had stayed that way it would have been remembered fondly, but it went much deeper and become a legend.

The cinematography is great, they choose such good angles to show every scene from. And they find the perfect angles to just linger so it becomes on the uncomfortable. It's just knows how to capture a scene, so it visual interesting to look at.

And of course the editing is amazing, the way they clip old animation together and give new meaning is spectacular.

The Evas fights looks phenomenon, they have speed but also weigh to them. The backgrounds and detail in everything is just spectacular, you can just see all the dust and see dirt and lipstick Marks on things. The objects and environments tell a story.

And the last two episodes are some of my favorite of all time, They are truly gut punched. It drops all pretense and just opens itself to you completely, it is one of the most honest and amazing 2 episodes i have seeing.

It is in my top 5 shows of all time. Would recommend.

Idioterne Is a movie that tries to destroy me, that tries to take the most cringiest thing I can think of People pretending to be disabled and doing that in public.

Liberation through disability how you can finally act how you want to and be set free by pretending to be disabled it is an interesting concert and it is executed Powerfully, if it just didn't kill me when I looked at it.

It's way more about the ideas, then the characters the characters are fled. We have the main girl who has some character development and something that happened to but everybody else is more there for comedy and for the idea of the movie. But the acting is amazing, They give themselves completely to the roles they are playing.

The Dogme 95 Style Is certainly a taste thing. In this movie it gives a feeling of closeness like this was film on home vhs recorder. Leg of music certainly helps there is nothing too distract you from what is going, on you are in the scene with what is happening and there is no escape. The editing is relentless it just jumps to the next thing that is happening, There is no smoothness just jumps.

Like all the Lars von Trier films, They are original and interesting ideas. But they are filled with contrarianism and a willingness to just go with ideas that no normal person would do. I like thinking about the movie more than watching it, I was in agony while watching it, but it is interesting art. Would recommend.

When the Wind Blows Is A Very British movie about a British couple that react very british to the apocalypse and try to keep calm and carry on in the apocalypse.

The movie is just so comfy despite What is happening, There is a true grimness to what it is going on but the characters has such a naive way of handling things that it is endearing in the most British way.

The couple just feels like people you know, nice people that just trust in the system. That is what makes what happened to them be even more grim.

It looks so disarming with its art style, It looks like a children's book but that makes what is happening even more weird, it's easier get under under your defences.

The way the house is a real object that the characters are draw on is great, it gives it a character and way house the changes throughout the movie is great.

The negative thing with the movie I can find is that the dialogue can become really repetitive, because just like an old couple they keep talking about the same things again and again.

It is a unique time capsule of the times It was made in. Is great to look back on and scary at the same time, would recommend.
