Honestly, the ONLY positive thing I can say about this charicature-driven movie is that Pamela Anderson is probably one of the most beautiful women alive, inside and out.
That aside, having to watch Jamie Lee Curtis's idea of an old, seen-it-all Vegas-worn cocktail waitress is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Watching her give her all and then some 'dancing' to prove she still has 'it' is mortifying. Thank God I was able to fast-forward through it. To be subjected to that in an inescapable movie theater is unthinkable. I'm just not sure this new young Coppola has one ounce of her grandparents' talent.
Jamie Lee's make-up was worse than that of Bette Davis's in 'Whatever Happened to Baby Jane', and it hurt to watch. She obviously has never been out in the real world of people. She is making fun of every decent hard-working, seen-their-days women out there. I'd like to hear from others who actually sat through this horrible movie.

Six-hundred characters to say that this movie was ruined by another one of Justin Timberlake's feeble attempts at acting. That's the gist of my now-to-be-fairly-pithy review.
Justin stands out like a sore thumb amidst an otherwise talented cast. He should not be allowed to 'practice' acting on the BIG SCREEN! That is for the real deals. Hey Justin, stick to the things you're really good at. His 'acting' is even worse than that of the wooden and similarly devoid-of-charisma Ryan Phillippe. Just like every time ANGELA Cartwright showed up in anything. He and his lovely Jessica are neither Alfred Lunt nor Lynn Fontanne.
Hugh Jackman is the only true 'star' around these days. Triple threat because he sings, dances, and acts and does them all well!. Justin is so far away from that. Now comes my pithy filling in the characters so I make the requisite five hundred.

So loved this character-driven story about the most dysfunctional family I have ever seen. The interrogator, apparently one of the biggest comedians in Thailand, is quite a powerful and hilarious presence who carries this movie with his good intentions toward solving the mass murder. I do not wish to spoil this wondrous tale by saying much more. The acting is stellar and each character is beautifully drawn. Earl is such a delight. I am now watching this again so that I can see it all in a new light. You will too. Here is the alphabet so that I may complete the minimum number of letters required to complete the review. Abcd etc.
