"Sequels" are tough to make, especially when you have follow up to a pretty decent original.
But, Jatt & Juliet is a pretty good sequel, pretty darn good.
The best sequel probably of our generation was The Dark Knight that followed Batman Begins, don't get the comparison wrong, J&J 2 is not on on Dark Knight level but it's definitely on the sequel level as The Dark Knight Rises was.
Director Anurag Singh fared well in making sure that J&J 2 does gets us its fair share of laughs. There were well thought out ideas "Sleeping Nanny" and the "Habra" and he made sure we get to see the best of every actor.
A job well done.
NOTES:
I really liked how Anurag Singh used "Hadippa" as a phrase for failure, although it's a far shot i think this has something to do with his previous film "Dil Bole Hadippa" which was a big failure.
