I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
For pure entertainment value it was well worth the price of a ticket.
It followed the tried and true Jurassic Park formula and I knew exactly what to expect. But it was so well done. It's a good story with engaging characters that you actually care about.
The effects were awesome and the scenery was amazing. If I had any complaint it would be that I don't think there is really a need to keep introducing genetically modified dinosaurs; the originals are just fine and provide plenty of scares. But that's a minor thing.
Pretty neat that Scarlett was in this. It was a bit of a departure for her in that it didn't showcase her looks although she looked fine just the same.
Very entertaining. A solid 9.

I tried, but this movie is incredibly boring. I don't watch many movies and I think thirty minutes is more than enough time to capture my attention. This did not do it.
I had no idea what was going on and the two lead characters were weird. Daniel Kaluuya comes across as mentally challenged, and Keke Palmer talks like a child and is extremely annoying. She needs to tone it down a notch and speak normally.
The movie had potential but like I said, thirty minutes in, and it was going nowhere. This is supposed to be a horror movie, but the only horror I see is that this movie was even made!
I give it one star.

How in the world does this crap rate a 7.7 on this site? And where are all the 10.0 ratings coming from? The cast?
Come on people; get real. This is on par with Sharknado on SyFy! If you can make it past the second episode you are doing well.
I like the idea of snow falling in summer and people freaking out. But I have also wondered why film makers struggle to film snow scenes. It doesn't snow when the sun is out. The sky should be overcast and dark, not bright and sunny? I guess if you have a tight budget you have to take whatever weather you get (if you are filming outside).
The actors do an okay job; they just didn't have anything to work with.
