Heads of State, is a entertaining romp though Europe. With John Cena and Idris Ellba in the twin leads, this comedy action is in good hands both stars have great comic timing and movement, as well as what seems to be a strong relationship forged in the mediocrity of "Suicide Squad" they appear to like working together and are comfortable sharing a screen. Well choreographed fight scenes do a lot of the lifting adding in some entertaining one liners and a pretty week plot is made up for by the stars likeability and what appears to be a large budget is mostly taken up by a lot of explosions and effects at the cost of narrative and plot. All this bing tha case I enjoyed "Heads of State" it's a amusing comedy reasonable action film with likeable stars and great effects which all adds up to a highly watchable movie that won't change the world or stick in the memory for long but it's entertaining and great escapism.

So watch enjoy and forget.

"Ice road Vengeance" is not a good movie and is not as good as the first, which wasn't a good movie either but it has two things going for it first is Liam Nelson who hasn't met a baddie he couldn't quip with or knock their head off. The fact is that "venggence" is simply good escapism it is a well paced action free-for-all that is dumb, inane, with a week plot and brilliant because of it, by which I mean it's not pretending to be anything other than a fun action romp with a strong lead, beautiful scenery, and a simple plot without lots of politics or making the story two complicated, survive against all odds and it works because of that.

Sometimes I want to sit down and watch something that's fun and I can lose myself in the action without having to think too much or getting bombarded with a "worthy" story. I feel we are being overrun with noble movies which are great and important but also draing and hard to watch so the "Ice Road" movies are not going to change the world but they will pass an hour or two and won't leave you dispairing for the future of the world or crying over the loss of a voice of a generation.

Watch "vengeance" not because it's a great film watch it because it isn't, it's never going to win a oscar but it will entertain, relax and won't stress anyone's mental fortitude!
