Threw this on because I wasn't able to sleep. Boring plot and annoying characters pretty much sums up the entire movie. The amount of time the main character spent crying about everything was unbearable.
His "relationship" with a girl who's trying to be a badass was just as bad. I had to fast forward through all their scenes together.
Also, why is it so hard for characters to drive around a car in the middle of a pretty wide 2 way road or simply hitting the other driver? Frustrating beyond belief.
Probably the biggest issue is never getting a clear answer (or one at all) about the rationale for The Run occurring in the first place. "Doing what has to be done" is not a sufficient reason to me.

While Ganymede isn't an Oscar worthy film by any means, it isn't the worst film I've ever seen. The acting is good and script is decent. Jordan Doww is a stand out (in my opinion) as a young closeted gay man struggling with the need to repress everything about himself. David Koechner's preacher character is so eerily believable that you almost forget he's the same actor from Ron Burgundy. The only character I had an issue with is Kyle. I felt he was far too self-absorbed and annoyingly persistent that I ended up hating him in the end. The thing that affected me the most about this film is that attempts to "fix" young homosexual men is still a relevant topic today and that's scarier to me than any horror character.
The series certainly started out creepy and interesting with individuals sharing experiences of strangers living in their homes, but slowly turned into tales of stalking and revenge. Not exactly phrogging at that point, is it? I also found myself getting irritated with some of the individuals in certain cases. Why would someone choose to confront a complete stranger who may be dangerous or have a severe mental illness instead of immediately leaving the premises and/or calling the police? Not to sound uncaring but I found myself feeling very little concern for those specific individuals in those cases. Ended up not finishing the entire series because I just couldn't handle the off topic episodes and complete idiocy of some of the "survivors". Watch if you're intrigued, but expect that to quickly dissipate.
