But it's enfuriantingly bad, as far from reality as it can be, and actually passing an awful message to a serious theme. Awful message to abusers, awful message to abused, and awful message to those who are loyal.
If you separate the story from the movie, it's also really really poor. I'm all for dramas, I like the depth of human struggle and emotions, but this left me with a sense of waste. Just not good enough to be on screen.
I'm feeling my review is already stretching what you can say about the movie, so I guess I can only end up saying that I'm really glad that it ended with them, because I couldn't bare any more of it.
