Things get changed in a small urban village community when a new neighbor comes.
When there is over excitement and there is no work to do, you're jobless, so you can interfere in anyone's personal issues. Though the personal issue is not a personal issue when it harms anyone.
A WhatsApp group is okay. Carrying a WhatsApp number which is currently switched off is also okay. But getting unknown message in Instagram with a notification tone is not okay. The screenwriter must be careful next time. Otherwise, the first 82% is 100% and the last 18% is -30%. Which makes it 70%. 7 out of 10.
Manuel, that is Basil Joseph is best in all aspect. Riya, sorry Priya aka Nazriya Nazim is also good.

It's a scene-by-scene copy of Asuran (2019). But Narappa, being a remake, is not even near to the original in terms of direction. The fighting scenes look very slow and non-violent. Also, so many slow-motion scenes ruin the thrill. The worst part of this movie is actress Priyamani. Who did nothing to fit her role of a mother and a young bride. She looks always the same and very modern despite every other woman look real villagers. Her hairstyle just doesn't fit this movie and also, she always looks the same from the beginning to end. Some other actors did very well. And Venkatesh is the life of this movie. Otherwise, not even closer to the original. This movie is only for Venkatesh fans. Otherwise, nothing else.
