If you chopped up ideas from Psycho, The Silence of the Lambs, Se7en and mixed it with some bad acting, a confused story line and some taxidermy you would end up with this. Abel Lotz was a nicely sinister character, but the driving force behind his actions was never really explored. A telescope and badly drawn fish does not a killer make......not it the land of film any way.
This was a film, that, yet again seemed to have the potential to have been much better. There just seemed to be too many things going on that didn't seem to be significant or didn't contribute to any conclusions. Some nice cinematography, some good music, but not the best story-line.
Watch this.
Interesting, shocking and worrying.
You will be left questioning why the hell this person hasn't been prosecuted and pursued.
A brilliant documentary about a man that speaks for itself. I don't think I have seen anyone implicate themselves, on camera, with such gusto.
