First off, I cannot fault the CGI and set designs of this movie. The CGI is great and little details made it look very good. The sets, especially on the spaceship(s) were spot on.
Now the bad part. The acting. I don't remember seeing a movie with worst acting in a major film. They are flat and not convincing at all. The story itself has no character development, so we have no idea who these people are.
The logic of the story is iffy, but the dialogue and actors just drag it all down.
If you want to see some cool CGI, watch it...just turn off the sound.
