I did find this to be a decent watch. Heavenquest is a fantasy/action flick that has some decent cinematography and action sequences. It is however annoyingly chiche with its portrayals of good and evil, coming across very corny. The acting does not help this matter either. It does look good and does have enough fantasy based action to move this along. Some of the reviews on here say this is a Christian movie. That explains the one dimensional and ultra cheesy narrative. Whether that's true or not, I do not know. I thought Heavenquest was alright for the genre, but I doubt will be anyone's favorite movie of all time.

Lady Golden Snake(,or whatever English title it goes by) appears to be a remake of a older wuxia film based off ancient Chinese novels. This is made specifically for Chinese audiences or for those who have a understanding and appreciation for the culture. For western viewers, a lot of the narrative and nuance can be easily lost. This film is about average for the genre from what I seen. The plot is a swordsman and a demon team up to get a magic sword that destroys a demon king to save humanity. The style is a mix of action, martial arts, fantasy and romance. The film itself looks sharp with nice camera work with a mix between CG effects and wirework for the effects. There is a ton of dialogue and with the subtitles coming at you pretty fast, there is something to be lost in translation that's important to the story. The sets and costumes were done well..If you are a fan of the genre, you have seen this sort of thing done before. While I think this is done well, I have seen this type of movie done a lot better. However, I did enjoy this and I found this to be a entertaining watch.

It goes without saying that Conan The Barbarian is a classic film, well made, well received and the perfect vehicle for Arnold Schwarzenegger to become a superstar and big draw at the box office. Director/writer John Milius didn't return for the sequel and it falls to veteran director Richard Fleischer, who has a different vision for the film and a lighter tone. When you try to make a follow up for a successful movie that was originally given a X rating for violence, you are going in the wrong direction. Also the material was taken less seriously and the approach was more generic. The story itself is nothing special and it was the director that insisted that Arnold's physique is a central focus. A great alternate title for this film is "Put On A Shirt Dude". The movie itself is competently made, well paced and a fairly entertaining (and very campy) fantasy action movie. It has been some time since I revisited Conan The Destroyer and with all of its flaws, with a script that plays like a Dungeons And Dragons module, I still enjoyed it. Although, it is not a popular opinion, I much prefer the even more campy fantasy flick Red Sonja to this. It also has Arnold in a rare supportive role and is also directed by Richard Fleischer.
