I really enjoyed this film, excellent photography, editing and colour grading. Scary as hell, kept me on the edge of my seat. The lead actress was very easy on the eye too. Great performances. Highly recommend. It goes to show what you can do with small budgets. Films like this are a testament to quality micro-budgets and proves good acting, pacing and story makes it possible for any filmmaker to achieve great heights if you plan correctly. Reminiscent of 'The Ring' and 'The Hills Have Eyes'. And if you're a fan of occult movies then this is one to watch out for also. Really looking forward to see what this tram comes up with next!
Wow, I've never seen anything like this from Oz, let alone a Sci-Fi. I mean sure the budget is low, but it's very well executed. Nice to see HILL acting in a film someone else has directed too. And he did a great job. I wonder if there's a sequel in the works? Would love to see what happens to the Ryan character...
And Ira Chakraborty was excellent. Showed a large range of emotions. Tackled a huge part/character, congrats to her also. Would love to see her in another film for sure. Simon Oliver has done a plethora of Alien documentaries and it was great to see him tackle a fictional piece. All round good fun.
Wow gotta say this was pretty epic for Indy standards back in 2000. No wonder it won the Melbourne Underground Film Festival! And to think some of the themes are reminiscent of a pandemic. I think Bakaitis was ahead of his time. Clearly put some of these actors on the map too. Some parts remaindered me of Bladerunner. Nice.
