Brilliant series, all the characters are great and well acted especially Lena Headey and Summer Glau. Shirley Manson is suitably evil and was a real surprise character.
This series is better than many Terminator movies. I cannot recommend it enough.
Exactly why it never had another series I will never know. It ended with plenty of scope to continue.
To fill the 600 word limit ... The series is set after the events in Terminator 2: Judgment Day where Sarah Connor and her son, John, try to stay away from the government and the law, as they plot to destroy the computer network Skynet in hopes of preventing the end of the world.
A terminator played by Summer Glau is sent to protect John Connor, or it is?

I love Elvis and his music, but this movie contained neither. The lead actors looked like Elvis and Pricilla, but although Jacob Elordi looked more like Elvis than Austin Butler, he lacked the excitement that Austin Butler displayed in the movie Elvis.
In fact Elvis does not come over too well in this movie. Ignoring the awful fact that Pricilla was only 14 when they met, something that was not overlooked for Chuck Berry or Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis comes across as someone mentally disturbed and not nice to be around. Plus he is constantly smoking cigarettes, something Elvis didn't do.
Sofia Coppola has made what could have been a good movie into one of the most boring biopics I have ever seen.

This could have been very good, but it is like watching two different movies.
As others have said, Eddie Redmayne is very good, but much of the supporting cast, especially Lashana Lynch are awful.
The back story involving her family is pointless and worth fast-forwarding through.
In fact a lot of the back-stories are pointless and it could have moved faster with out them.
I also found the overuse of profanity unnecessary.
I hope that if they make another series, they consider casting better and concentrate on the main story.
The Day of The Jackal author Frederick Forsyth has revealed he sold the film rights to his 1971 bestseller decades ago for just £20,000 (around $25,000) - and will get next to nothing from the new $126,000,000 TV adaptation. 'The new adaptation has paid him a modest fee for the title. "It wasn't out of obligation," he said, " it was a gesture.
