I wanted to watch a Jet Li's movie since it had been a very a long time .So downloaded "Ocean Heaven" thinking it could be a good action movie.

Just finished watching it. It came as a surprise that the movie has nothing related to martial arts. But it brought tears in my eyes ;it is such an emotional movie which portrayed a beautiful relationship between a great father and his autistic son. Now I like Jet Li more than ever. He played his role so perfect even in Drama genre!

Apart from him, all others have played their respective roles pretty well especially his son.You will not feel bored at any point in the movie.

Highly recommended for everyone!

This is a must watch for all indians if they are looking for a patriotic movie.If you know kannada the movie will bring tears in your eyes.The movie is based on real story of 1800's India's fight against the British and is very well projected. Great acting by Darshan as Sangolli Ryanna and superb direction. Some facts about Sangolli Rayanna: He was inteestinglt born on 15th August and died on 26th January.He was a prominent warrior from Chittor(Karnataka, India). The British army had to find a cunning way to capture him and then sentenced him as cowards.Even the great chennamma was killed by the British by lying to her that Rayanna was dead.she killed herself by consuming poison.A banyan tree is planted with some of his ashes and the tree is very well grown toady.The district is now called as "Belgaum".A big salute the great warrior from Karnataka!
