Oh, my goodness! Probably one of the worst storylines that I've ever watched...and to the very end. I stuck with it since there are a couple of attractive men running around nearly naked or naked for a significant amount of time. Hence, the 3 star rating.

The problem I had with this film was that every time I thought I was seeing a clear, logical and convincing plot develop, it immediately shifted or abruptly changed.

This contributed greatly to the confusing and unclear events throughout the film. I never felt as though I could get into the characters and felt lost.

So, in the final analysis, who knows where this movie is trying to go? Watch with incomprehension in mind.

The film's material is actually pretty decent. But, it needs to be assigned to someone who understands how to effectively direct actors, in order to elicit the necessary emotions, and to edit the scenes for cohesion. Hopefully, this will pique the audience's interest in the characters and plotline, eliciting emotional responses, such as, fear, suspense, dread, anxiety, terror, unease, etc.

I really didn't feel any of those emotions while watching this film, despite it's potential. Hence, the low rating.

Watch Hellbent or for less horror but suspense and thrills watch, Stranger by the Lake or No Night is Too Long.

I'm not exactly clear why the movie is listed as both a comedy and a drama on IMDB. The movie didn't seem to have very much humor to it. It's a warm and inviting story. A nice film. Nothing ostentatious or extravagant. The picture features strong acting and a realistic depiction of the era, which is 1970 into 1971. As a senior in high school at the time, I particularly enjoyed hearing some of the music from that era.

My rating of 6 teetered between a 6 and 7. But, since the plot didn't elicit any significant emotions or reactions in me, I decided to give it a lower rating. It's a likeable movie, as I mentioned above.
