I started this series with hope - episode 1 seemed promising. But very quickly, the storyline veered into awkward and unconvincing romantic entanglements that felt more uncomfortable than engaging.
The show is filled with themes of abuse, betrayal, and immorality. Married characters pursuing affairs, forced relationships, and morally questionable decisions dominate the plot. Even the elder characters come with their own secrets, which adds more confusion than depth.
The setting is bleak, the atmosphere heavy, and the actors often appear exhausted - mirroring how I felt watching it. This isn't the kind of drama that excites or inspires. It left me feeling drained and disappointed. Definitely not what I was looking for in a series.

I rarely leave reviews, but this series genuinely tested my patience. What starts off as a mildly intriguing premise quickly spirals into a mess of bizarre, incoherent storytelling. With each episode, the plot becomes more ridiculous and disconnected - it honestly felt like an assault on common sense.
I only gave it a chance because of its high ranking on the Netflix toplist, and I regret every minute spent watching. I have no idea who approved this storyline - it's chaotic, over-the-top, and totally unrelatable. If there's a second season, I might actually sign a petition against it.
On a slightly positive note, the casting was decent, and the wedding dress was beautiful. But that's about it. Everything else? A disaster.

Modern Dogu Masallari seriously had potential - the idea of mixing Eastern legends with today's world sounded awesome and super unique. But honestly, the show just doesn't pull it off.
The biggest problem? The story's all over the place. It feels like they're trying to be deep with all the symbolism and folklore, but it ends up feeling messy and kind of pointless. The characters don't really grow or connect with you, and the plot just floats around without going anywhere.
It's like they focused more on making it look cool than actually making it mean something. Disappointing, total waste of time.
