No one is being exploited. Every actor that was involved got the double, double, entendre. It is done so straight faced, however, that it only adds to the elements of comedy and drama. This is wonderful, clever, television.

The bare faced communist propaganda presented so matter of factly, viewed now through the lens of history, is gold. The take on the 1980's buddy cop scenario played out hundreds of times in American Films and TV is incongruous to the 'behind the iron curtain' setting but, in being so, works. The material is a cartoon style take on the threats communist Romania may have faced from the West. The dialogue is done in an American style with Eastern European content - again this adds to the unlikely seriousness.

The whole six episodes are a blended mix of the above ingredients. The dubbing into English adds to this the idea of a throw back to another era. The camera direction is superb. The whole thing from start to finish riffs on all of the above elements to provide gloriously knowing entertainment.

The show also manages to add in ideas that will make you think on the whole failed communist experiment but also makes you think on the failures of the capitalist experiment that we are living.

That whole thing nearly, completely, failed too around 2008.

Room to get better but this was great to watch straight after the disappointment of TWD 7.16.

Liked Season 1 although it meandered a little later in the season but the finale was strong.

If there is any justice this will go from strength to strength.

More potential in this than The Walking Turkey.................

I don't want to waste too much time on this as I feel a bit robbed.

If that is the best season finale they can come up with then this show needs changed around a lot.

Pro's

+ Sasha arc was satisfying. Needed a more meaningful flashback scene however. + Negan put it together like the uber bad guy he is meant to be. + Scavengers have some potential. + Tiger is cool!

Con's

• The episode overall is put together really badly in editing. - Scavengers:Do not believe their ways could have developed over such a short period of time since the start of the outbreak. - Wasted all the interpersonal tension character by character. The writers do not know what they are doing. - TWD does best when looking at small personal stories and tensions in the world after the fall. They need to build up to something more meaningful. - The action in the finale was terrible. Chaos yes but not enough jeopardy for established characters who mostly came through unscathed.

People, stop believing that TWD is a work of genius and the writers really nail it every time. They do not. They are busking it since Darabont left. Small stories about individuals, great, Carol, Morgan, Rick and Miochonne - cool. Daryl is a non character that needs reworked, so how has he put three stone of muscle on in the Zombie apocalypse?
