I'm mainly writing a review of this episode so I can use the title - can't believe no one else used it. And good dog indeed and so adorably cute. A spy dog of all things!

I love it when the team uses animals. In the last one there was a bird. In the first season I think it was there was a lovely pussycat.

Don't know why they didn't use more both in a storyline sense and for the show itself, though hoping they will have others in upcoming episode. Maybe as they say in the biz that actors should never work with children and animals. And I'm sure they can be hard to wrangle. But don't know why they didn't send in the animals each time to retrieve things.

Then the other thing was Leonard Nimoy trying to do an Australian accent oh dear but not too bad.

All in all a fairly interesting episode followed to start with but then got a bit confusing towards the end.

This is not a perfect series by any means. It does not have the magic and originality of the original that 70's show, which to me was one of the last real funny sitcoms.

I finally decided to give this show a go.

The first season and first few episodes were not that bad. I didn't mind the newbies that much, though not a patch on the original gang. And I do love the cameos from the old show.

But unfortunately the shenanigans of references to the old are too over the top and don't work as well in this setting.

Having said all that this episode had some good old fashioned sitcom gags in it from the gang and especially from Kitty and Red.

It's been quite a while since there's been a truly she said he said episode (I don't mean the fact that all the rapists always say they didn't do it) I mean one where both parties are guilty in a way but who is more guilty?

They do have similar episodes like this every few years and this one is definitely a top one in this sphere. And all of those putting 1 star down are insane - I mean how do you put a 1 on something this good, could only be because they didn't like the opinions etc? (honestly didn't read them). Or sure maybe it wasn't overtly dramatic- thank goodness they dint all have to be. There have been some different type episodes that preceded this, a bit hit and miss. But this one brings it way up to the standard that proves still how amazingly and relevant SVU is after all these years! And I know whose side I was on in this and like most of these type stories in the past the outcome is usual.
