Large cast, tight editing, multi threaded stories, long haul and episodic. Good acting, sets and production. But because the history of top notch Kdrama I had higher expectations.

5 episodes in maybe the more I was looking for will come later. For me it's better than the whale song lawyer a few years back. Definitely better than the other current law show, Law and the City. Still leans bit too much towards the sentimental and human side of the story for me. But still engaging.

The one complain is the court cases so far are strongly sympathetic towards woman. Fair to be fair except for the scenario of the male lead iscreverse. The rainbow episode is a bit over emotional but what saved it was the male lead's realisation and feeling of emptiness speech.

The 3 juniors on the same team seems very minor role so far. And so do the 2 roommates. Maybe in the later episodes? Or season 2.

Overall a feel good movie. The many characters sort of saves it but still some seem excessive, the robots for example. But if you want an origin story then not here.

The seriousness of Luther, against hammy Green Lantern, crazy cgi Kyprto, then layback ma pa Kents, back to comedic Jimmy, also political invasion message are a lot of teetering of tone.

What really really works is the persona of Superman. His goodness, demeanor, directness. Lois ok. Luther annoyingly good. Mr. Terrific awesome fight sequence.

What doesn't work for me is the too many threads; Superman fight scenes are tad too regular meh and too long. And almost no setup phase in the beginning.

But overall the good outweighs the bad. And the acting is surprisingly good for this genre.
