I had heard good things about this but the only good thing about this film is the short runtime. None of the supernatural elements and actions of the villain are made explicit. That's perhaps okay and leaving room for the audience to make up their own mind. But if the motivations are not even hinted at, the background for their particularities are non specific then it feels very muddy. The relationship between the brother and sister is very very sweet indeed. But apart from that there is very little to take away from after the credits start rolling at the end. Disappointed.

Starts out with an interesting idea about living for friendship or for love but then gets weirder and weirder and then lamer and lamer. Ends up making no point really.

It may have a political subplot and a backdrop of the OPEC oil crisis. Bradley Cooper may have a scene stealing cameo. But you cannot deny it is utterly dreary, jejune and totally pointless.
