I would have liked this movie as much as Huan Zhu Ge Ge. But there were some things Qiong Yao added to this film to make me give only a 8. Fist of all, there was too much drama between Yiping's relationship with Shu Huan. It's like they break up every week and then they love each other more than ever. There was also too much drama between Yiping and her father and also everybody on the other side of her family. And then there was too much kissing scenes. Like between Yiping and Shu Huan. They locked lips with each other every time they meet. First I didn't mind, but when they started doing that more and more, it was gross. Also, I didn't like Ruby Lin's character of Ruping. She was wanting something that she'll never get. I also feel kinda bad for her because I could tell she loved Shu Huan really much. And after all, it was her who met him first. And Ruping helped Yiping a lot. Yiping hates almost everyone. She was too bitter sometimes.

Once again, Qiong Yao captures many people's hearts with Huan Zhu Ge Ge 2. HZGG 2 is the sequel to the popular Huan Zhu Ge Ge that hit across Asia. Little Swallow and Zi Wei are back, this time, they meet new friends, Two princesses are added. One is a beautiful Turkeish princess from the Hui Tribe named Han Xiang. At the beginning, Han Xiang travels with her father to Beijing and gets attacked by a few masked men, one was Han Xiang's lover, Meng Dan. Meng Dan tries to take Han Xiang away, but soon is injured and escapes. Han Xiang continues on and makes it to Beijing and is given to the Empreror Qian Long. Another thing about Han Xiang, she has a sweet flower scent on her body that attracts butterflies. Han Xiang's beauty has soon won over the heart of Qian Long and makes her one of his concubines. Han Xiang is given her own room in the palace, The Precious Moon Tower. The second princess is a princess named Qing Er that accompanies the Empress Dowager(Qian Long's mother). The Empress Dowager does not like Zi Wei and Xiao Yan Zi and soon The Empress and Rong Muo Muo are causing them more trouble. But Qing Er helps Little Swallow( Xiao Yan Zi) and Zi Wei every time. Qing Er is a lot like Zi Wei. Watch the four princesses struggle with many situations in the palace in Huan Zhu Ge Ge 2!

A movie filled with romance, comedy, family entertainment, and also many touching scenes, Huan Zhu Ge Ge is definitely Qiong Yao's best work ever! I can't help but watch it over and over again. This story tells about a young girl named Xia Zi Wei who travels from Ji Nan To Beijing accompanied by her maid Jin Suo, to find her father after her mother died. Her mother leaves her a painting and a fan for Zi Wei to prove that she is the Emperor's daughter. In Beijing, Zi Wei seeks for help from a minister to meet the Emperor and meets Little Swallow, an orphan girl. Little Swallow agrees to help Zi Wei and they soon become sworn sisters. Little Swallow told Zi Wei that the emperor was going hunting on a mountain. After Zi Wei tries to climb the mountain and hurts herself, she begs Little Swallow to climb the mountain and tell the Empreror her story. Little Swallow climbs the mountain and soon gets shot by an arrow by mistake. When the Empreror sees Little Swallow's fan and painting, he convinces himself that Little Swallow was his long lost daughter.
