This is a very horrible case and shocked how badly they could treat the child, as well as the neglect from officials.

While the documentary starts promising enough, it ultimately falls flat. The filmmakers themselves seems allergic to evidence and fails to provide a proper overview of the timeline of events, abuse and evidence. Instead it's the same information being told over and over again, with just a drip feed of new information as the doc continues. Sometimes even completely losing track of the topic.

Eventually it becomes an exercise of frustration to watch, when you realize they will never provide a more proper look at the evidence apart from a surface level. They also never fully go into the history and background of the mother, barely even having her as part of the trial and series. Despite the fact she's said to be the one manipulating the boyfriend and the one who has a long and dark history. This could have been explore much better.

Very disappointing and sad this wasn't better. The evidence seems to have fallen through the cracks for the filmmakers, same as Gabriel's evidence fell into the cracks of the system.

This starts as a very interest and well made documentary about government conspiracies, covering up murders, CIA operations and so on. For the first two episodes it is very gripping to dive down the rabbit hole of these conspiracies.

However, you eventually start getting bored of being fed these empty lies when you realize they aren't going to provide with any evidence of the claims. It's just the same characters spewing their lies.

The documentary then starts to feel shallow. Especially the last 2 episodes didn't have much extra to come forward with and dragged on for too long. The self-insertion at the start and the end of the documentary didn't help either, but thankfully they didn't do that too much in the middle of it.

Watch this only if you're okay with an anti-climatic goose chase into conspiracy theories which doesn't have much evidence to back up anything.
