I came into this movie thinking it would be a background noise to what I was really doing. Writing down awesome recipes. And it's quirky dialogue just grabbed my attention. Non of the cliche action movie dialogue. Just straight forward but polite back and forth interaction very well done between characters. Bronson has not lost his acting chops. Caan, just acted natural. There are few movies out there that the characters treat one another with respect even when they are out to do each other harm. Those types of movies just grab my attention and make me want to see them over and over again. If you want relaxing yet just can't walk away entertainment, this is one to see.

Ok so. Most reviews lambasted this flic for not being what they expected. I found this riveting. No bag of stunts. No rediculous.pyrotechnics. This was a well done edge of your seat low budget thriller with a bunch of no big name actors who did their craft very well. Done with very few cliche lines. I really could not predict where this was going in terms of the usual plots Hollywood movies would have taken. Throughout the action I kept trying to predict the next move and only once was I right. As low tech and low production feeling this movie may have been. This movie kept me guessing throughout its unfolding action and development of characters. Quietly, slowly enjoyable is how I would characterize this film!

So many bad reviews. Not all movies are action hero flicks. It played out slow but I was still riveted. The movies tension was not in body count or how the protagonist was a few steps ahead. The tension was in being (as a viewer) emotionally linked with Sally and Leila. There was no need for CGI in this film which these days I found refreshing. Of course Morgan Freeman delivers a perfect performance as always.
