After reading the reviews, I wasn't sure I was gonna like this series. But I believe it has everything abuse, denial, mental health, dealing with Narcissistic Tendencies and most importantly Relapse from bot alcoholism and relapse to abusive behaviour.
Truthfully, everything that's happening in this series is going on in the daily lives of people everywhere people you walk by on the street people that serve your dinner at a restaurant. It goes unnoticed by most, though we should be aware of the signs of somebody having a rough time From any of these symptoms of turmoil that I mentioned above. Some of these people aren't ready for help, or recovery.. and everyone has a different "Rock Bottom", some may never find that bottom, and some recognize it earlier than others.
The types of abuse listed here are raw and unfiltered. But they need to be talked about if you see it in your circle of people.
If you see something SAY SOMETHING.
One of the things I noticed about the user comments and reviews is that this seem like an attack on men and you have to kind of put that aside because if a person is controlling and takes away the ability for someone to get away the ability to contact help the ability to contact your friends or family. That's usually the wonderful females of our species. They are left without options in some cases and the hoops they have to jump through to get the help are not easily and readily available for everybody. These hardships are 10 times as hard when there's a child involved and the child's well-being has to be put first every time..

It's a heartbreaking story, but one thing I will always suggest to anybody is never speak to a police officer that's given you Miranda rights without a lawyer... police are NOT your friend they have a job to do and their job is to put you in jail. Police are disingenuous in their approach. They act like you're their friend, but they work for a prosecutor and that prosecutor is in charge of putting you in prison...
NEVER NEVER NEVER TALK TO POLICE WITHOUT A LAWYER PRESENT, EVEN IF YOU ARE ARRESTED AND JAILED... HAVE A LAWYER WITH YOU EVERY TIME.. these are in alienable right handed to you by the creators of the countries.
