I absolutely loved Woman of the Hour.
The actors are great and new to me, which is always exciting. The story felt real, authentic and heartwarming. I really enjoyed the moving setting in the 1970s and seeing it through the women's point of view, especially the main character Sheryl, which is really fun and smart. I also really liked seeing Amy, I think her performance was amazing.
I love true crime, and the fact that this movie is also about Alcala made it really exciting from the very beginning to the end. I only wished this was a serie format and that the story could continue, to meet more of the victims of Alcala and maybe get to know more of him too. It's definitely one of my favorite movies for 2024.

I was hoping for a TV-series similar to Parisian Agency - and to see some beautiful properties in London and get a glimpse of the realtors in England in personal way.
Starting off, the agency claims to work differently and offer something new to the market, yet all you see is young blondes in heels, fake smiles and egos so large they might implode. This is narcissistic tv, nothing else. The music is inspired by other real estate series on Netflix, without the coolness. Everything feels fake.
I couldn't watch this more than 10 minutes because I knew this would be a big waste of time. This tv-show deserves to be forgotten right away.

I wanted to love this movie.
Seeing the cast in the beginning I felt like this had the potential to become a new favorite. So many favorite actors. Filmed on a beautiful set.
I never really got the story. I was hoping it to be a mystery, like a classic murder storyline. Maybe I've seen to many Agatha Christie movies. Everything looked so perfect and it just fell flat to me. It almost felt sketchy in a way.
I don't think the actors was as great as they could have been and the script and storytelling was boring. It was difficult keeping the interest up as the story progressed. Would not recommend...

I'm such a big fan of Sex and the city and was excited to find out that SATC were evolving into a new show, broadcasting all these amazing women in their later part of life.
Boy was I disappointed finding out that the new show has lost everything regarding humor, grace and personality...
I'm on episode 5 and they are still discussing their "old age", hip surgeries and these awkward jokes about not understanding the "time that we live in now". Has these ladies, that were cool and hip during their 20s/30's, suddenly been living under a rock for 30 years?
Please don't watch this. It's like a tv-show about grandparents on a care facility. It's so embarrassing I need a pillow.
