I saw this film today, and would happily see it a few more times. It was full of stuff and so wonderful that I'll be constantly thinking about moments and seeing more into all of them for days to come.
I love German movies, being a German student, and I found the German was quite clear a lot of the time. There were several missing subtitles, but I could get the gist of what was being said anyway.
There are some classic moments in this film that are very memorable, and others that build up the tension incredibly. One such example being that of the "Go West" blimp (I won't say any more for fear of spoiling such a moment!)
I wouldn't place this movie under the comedy genre, unless it was ironical comedy, or satire, merely because comedy is a genre that immediately brings tacky humour and shallowness to mind (well mine at least). This movie is a political irony possibly, and is in no way shallow or tacky.
See the movie, it is worth it and will teach everyone a lot about the differences between the DDR and the GDR, and the opinions of people who were strongly attached to the Socialist regime.
I say again, SEE THIS MOVIE, whether you find it boring or whatever, you are bound to get something out of it....

...and nowhere near, but what is?! I found Matrix Revolutions enjoyable enough, although I found it left a lot of unclosed issues, and it didn't have the freshosity of the 1st and 2nd.
Of course not everyone will like it, but it's worth watching to make up your own mind.
I found it a little slow, and I found Mary Alice as the Oracle a little annoying, but she had a tough role to play, succeeding the glorious Gloria Foster.
Matrix Revolutions was not a disappointment, although I had prepared myself for anything, but it did not have the same enthusiasm as the first or second. I found the action a little overdone (I'm not saying it wasn't speccy though), and some parts a little too Star Wars like.
The end was a little predictable - it was the only way it could be solved if the brothers were to keep on following the religious lines they have been through the movies, but I was left a little confused as to the EXACT significance of the little girl, Sati (or Saki..?)
Anyway, it wasn't too bad as a piece of entertaining film, and I do urge you to make up your own mind about it, and try to go into it with an open mind. DO NOT JUDGE IT BY WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE SAID - each to their own (as they say), and everyone will have a different opinion, so make up your own!

This movie was filled with things from other kids movies - there were hints of Shrek, Pochahontas, Jungle Boy and squillions of others. I kept on expecting to see a mermaid pop up or a genie pop from a lamp.
Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and think it is suitable for ALL ages - designed for little kids, but watchable by older people too. I was laughing the whole way through. It may require a mental age of four, but most people have that so most people should enjoy it!!
