The series follows the stranded members of interplanetary freighter - but it's so much more than this. There are beautiful vistas and insights on what a truly alien planet could be like; glimpses of how the human psyche deals with abandonment, loss, beauty and friendship; and a stellar pace that will you keep you to the edge of your seat. Highly, highly recommended.

The characters are also noteworthy, with realistic personalities.

The drawing style really captivated me, it has moments when it's psychedelic (especially if you consider the featurette as well) but it is always so beautiful and vibrant.

All in all, a great series even if you're not a sci fi fan; but if you are the layers of the xenobiology and how thoughtful the creators were will just add to the delight.

First of all I won't spoil anything. "Jonas" is an incredible movie, with a story so thoroughly develop you won't want to miss it. The story develops on two timelines in a really clever way and the mystery is revealed in such a thought-out manner that honestly you'll stay glued to the screen. It's been a long while since I saw a movie developing and revealing the plot so well. As for the actors, their acting is wonderful. The younger actors as well play incredibly well. Nothing feels fake or rushed or inauthentic. It's really a movie you shouldn't miss!

I really enjoyed this. While not really groundbreaking, the cast seemed to really believe in their roles. The ending was unexpected and really got me emotional. The dynamics between the characters were also laudibly presented in my opinion, not making everything revolve around sex like so many high school movies. I would really recommend this to anyone who struggled in high school, had issues with their parents and - most interesting regarding this movie - met someone who really helped them through that period or even just wished they did meet such a person (this is my case and the movie really made an impression on me).
