Yes it's slow paced and quite lengthy and could have cut down short as possible. But delivered what the director wanted to convey to the audience. Of course there are flaws in the script, Vijay Maurya did his well to stick to point and facts. As always the best performance goes to the show stealer Mr. Annu Kapoor he was brilliant and some supporting cast also did good.

My word what an outstanding performance by Shefali Shah and Vidya Balan. Plot has nothing extraordinary in it but the way of portraying it makes it watchable. Especially the performances by the lead and supporting artists. Technicality wise this movie stood up too like sound designing and camera esthetic.

Overall it should be more fast paced as in the middle it's gets flattened. Going by its genre thriller I think most of it lacks to hold, only in the climax stood up well.

In the end conclusion would be give it a shot for Shefali Shah and Vidya Balan these two are the stealer of the show.

First of all I watch a movie/series from an art perspective and not mix it with anything. For me I judge any movie by its making, story, performance and all art related works. * No one has instigate me or gave me a single penny to write this review. *

I enjoyed all the performances but 2 of them were the show stealers respected Mrs. Shabana Azmi Ji and Mr. Dino Morea. They just outplayed others. Kunal did his job but was not as effective as them. His presentation of his dialogue were bit dull compare with these two. I won't go deeper.

People here judging on what Mughal did to us. Yes this is based on them. But makers didn't did anything wrong or portrayed them good because they wanted us. It's based on a book. Ah! This is what happens here we liberty of an art is not given. Please it's your all right to say positive or negative thoughts on any movie but with pre judgemental mind that the movie/series is based on this (which is not acceptable) so blame and say negative things to the art.

At last I deducted 4 stars for very poor VFX and unstable story telling. About unstable I felt many times the story was breaking and was unable to connect to the next scene. It's seems unstable to watch some unnecessary scenes were included which could have been avoided easily.

Give it a shot without hating the reel characters. Watch the performances and extravaganza sets and costumes. Yes these were the positive sides of this series. Very good set design especially the use of lights inside every mansion and costumes.
