'In particular, the finger on the bell scene at the end of the movie had me in hysterics because of Trevor's sheer lack of respect for anyone else.' You obviously have never been in the nick mate! now take your pretentious, self absorbed vapid remarks about a great film, and stick them up your arse (to quote Trevor) ;-) oops the Nazis at IMDb wont post this unless i get 10 lines, so i'll carry on with my tirade with 'play333r' (oh the irony) This film, (if you grew up in the 80's) has resounding effects on people just like me (i.e i'm NOT middle class) Luke i wish you all the luck in the world (i'm sure you'll inherit a good amount) but to dismiss a great bit of British/social filmaking is just ignorant... /rant
@toy_soldiers

Well what can i say...Er, how about terrible! obviously Harriet Thorpe has fallen on hard times after Life is sweet, and in all fairness she was the only recognisable character.Everything about this film screams straight to DVD and it shows.Zero character development, sloppy direction, awful script, need i go on? avoid like the mutants that mysteriously mutate within 10 minutes of a nuclear blast??!! they should of called it C.R.U.D. I'll award it 2 stars, mainly because its British (and god knows our film industry needs it) and also probably because it's the directors first effort (lord knows i hope it is) 28 days/weeks later this is not!
I'm sorry but i do have to laugh at some of the remarks this film has generated 'ban it!' 'it's sick, so you must be sick to watch it' etc...don't make me laugh. I was fortunate enough to catch this last night, and i was gripped from start to finish. The acting, direction, cinematography was all top notch (i went in expecting a Z grade movie) but boy was i pleasantly surprised. I have to commend the director on a very bold (and macabre) premise. As has already been pointed out it is very light on actual gore but its all in the detail (and imagination) ;) I'm off recommending this to all of my horror buff friends, because unlike some commentators on here i appreciate a rollocking inventive horror flick...roll on Full sequence!!
