As a longtime fan of A24, I can confidently say this film easily makes it into my top 5 from the studio. True to their style, it blends fear, emotion, and atmosphere into a compelling story. While there are scenes with violence and some disturbing moments, nothing feels gratuitous - I'd recommend it for viewers aged 15 and up.
There is one scene with nudity (brief frontal in a shower), but aside from that, the film avoids excessive content. No drug use is shown apart from alcohol and a few intoxicated characters.
Some scenes may be tough to watch emotionally or visually, but that's part of what makes A24 films so impactful. They don't shy away from intensity when it serves the story. Overall, this is another strong entry from A24 and a great start to 2025 cinema.
