Saw the first two episodes and so far I love it. It's made well, all the visuals are awesome, it's nice to look at, acting is good, sound is good, cinematography is good, effects are great, everything seems to be good - it really seems this is a good one. It's not really lough-out-loud funny, but it is plenty funny for my taste - it's pleasant to watch(and listen!) kind of humor and it's also good sci-fi. There is no high-school drama! That's awesome. The characters face challenges from sci-fi environment, not from twisted villains with immature personalities and psychological problems. So many scifi shows fail with that, but it doesn't seem like it's a problem here at all. Good start. It reminds me of Star Trek or Stargate in that sense although it's actually nothing like that in any other aspects(maybe a bit more like Orville and Cowboy Bebop(2021) kind of positive vibe), so I guess for me it feels original, new, modern show with a very healthy mature kind of positive attitude. I read other reviews and sure, it's not too fast and I can see how some people might find it boring, but I think that is 100% personal preference only and for me it's definitely very interesting, thought provoking, funny and most of all a real pleasure to watch. It's sort of interesting feel-good kind of show that is not too heavy or serious, but is true sci fi - just exactly what I want. I truly enjoyed the first episodes a lot. I could really feel how short the episodes were, but in a good way - I definitely want more!

Everything about the show is awesome. Except the story telling. There are moments when it works really well especially pretty much entire first season, some really good moments later as well, but it just got worse and worse and worse and by season 3 it's sometimes just hard to watch. What's up with all the talking about feelings and stating the obvious all the time?.. It would be so awesome if some things could be shown instead of stated in dialog multiple times. What if the story telling was more like in the Mandalorian? It would be awesome! Now... A bunch of people just talking all the time and the dialog is often meaningless and it feels like it's about nothing. Of course I like to watch those people talking - OK I'll do that if it's all there is, the actors are good and special effects are awesome and amazing sets and cinematography and so on, but it could have been so much more with good writing. And it was at times. Something changed dramatically over time.

No idea what made me watch it. I mean it's filmed nicely, nice locations, some action and it may seam like it's a professional production when you see a few scenes. Well, it's not. Everything is terrible. Monotonic unnatural meaningless and unrealistic dialog, nothing makes sense, I am not even sure if it attempts to be funny, I don't really get how, there are scenes where there is no ambient sound at all and just dialog in pretty much complete silence which feels really weird and boring. It's weird how it can be so bad and visually look OK like a normal movie from a few first glances. I mean not a normal good movie, but at least something you could watch when you have nothing else better to do. It looked like that to me. Well, it's not like that. Unwatchable at all. It fooled me.

I though some more about it and well, some things like cinematography are good. That's what confuses me. Everything else is terrible, but maybe very few aspects that I am not even prepared to look for or even consider in a serious way are good and it's really weird, because the gap between those very few aspects and everything else is quite huge the way I see it and it's just not something I have ever seen.
