I recently watched the Tamil movie "Aathmika," and it is, without a doubt, the worst film I've seen in 2024. The acting of every individual is incredibly boring and pathetic, making it difficult to stay engaged with the story. Speaking of the story, it is utterly wasteful and lacks any substance or coherence.
The direction is equally disappointing, with poor execution that fails to deliver any meaningful impact. The last few minutes of the movie are in complete darkness, which only adds to the frustration and confusion.
Overall, I strongly recommend everyone not to watch this movie unless you have plenty of time to spare and don't mind wasting it. "Aathmika" is a major letdown in every aspect, and it is best avoided.

"Rebel, boasts solid direction and commendable acting performances that kept me engaged. However, the film leaves a negative impression on Keralites due to its portrayal, which may not accurately represent the community. Whether based on a true story or not, if the depiction is accurate, it's disappointing. Acting-wise, the movie falls into the "okay" category, with unnecessary sentiment elements that detract from its impact. It's a one-time watch, but the ending feels inappropriate, leaving viewers wanting more closure. Despite expectations for more scenes featuring the talented Mamita Baiju, the movie fails to deliver on that front, lacking promising moments.
