I first saw this movie when I was 10yrs old & it just blew me away. It was fantastic, I loved everything about it. The country, the music, the actors. Wow. Now 16 yrs later, I thought I'd sit down & watch it again. Because as a child everything you watch is just good. So I can still say I just LOVE this movie. Because it is so hard to obtain a tape here in Australia, I just had to buy it & have it sent to me from America. I was so excited when it arrived. I love this movie & I think everybody who loves Gilbert & Sullivans productions, will definitly love this film. Sure its abit of a throw off to The Pirates of Penzance but I think they did a good job. So I think everyone should sit down & watch this for a bit of fun & I'm sure it will zap every one back to when they were a child & remember how much fun it was to watch it back then. Don't trash it until you've watched it. Christopher Atkins, Oh Yeh. YUM!!

I have to admit I only started to watch this to check out Hayden Christensen, but as the episodes went by I just fell for the entire show. It is great. It isnt on until midnight here on Monday's, so I patiently wait until it comes on & then can't wait until the next week. All the characters have a special quality about them. Watching them fight their demons. It is sad to know that they only made one season, because now what else is there to watch....! I will miss the sitting up and watching this amazing tv show the whole cast did a brilliant job. Good on it for them..

This movie is my all time favourite. Still to this day I cry & get emotional during certain scenes & no matter how many times Ive seen this. Megan Follows, Jonathan Crombie, Colleen Dewhurst and Richard Farnsworth did a tremendous job. The story of a little orphan girl who finally is adopted by the right people is great. The scenary is breath taking, what a marvelous place to have been while making this movie. Any one who enjoys a good love/drama watch this. You will be surprised in how much you enjoy it. Dont forget the sequels they are just as great. Especially if you want to know what happens to Anne & Gilbert.....
