I was skeptical because it was filmed with a 35mm camera, but now it has a different angle of view. There are some scenes I like a lot as those two, when they are in that shop center after the wedding and when those 4 walk at night in searching of a runaway boy. In addition, Yuri is excellent at portraying an honest, gentle and smart ordinary man, who cannot help but be surprised by the behavior of the people he is with, although he was called to be there to handle the situation only to use his physical strength. At that scene near the end when there is a conversation with Anora in that big house he shows his true intelligence and decency. The cutest character! The point is that money cannot change someone's cultivation and character, because you will always be who you really are. Deservedly rewarded with Oscars, and the only omission is that Yuri did not.

I've seen this movie before, but didn't pay that much attention and hadn't even noticed that scene of very passionate kiss between the main characters. Also, had not noticed Fritz(Olyphant) as womanizer then, becuase he always acts some negative cold characters and he is good in it, but here he also showed the other side! Well,... Now I've rewatched that scene a several times, as I suppose many other viewers, to study the factor of why some viewers are left breathless. I've read some other comments that there's no passion and attractions between them. Well, I am not sure it is that, because the point is that it's not just the viewers who are breathless affected, but also the actors. Jennifer's heavy swallowing of air and Timothy's heavy breathing clearly show that passion. Was it good acting or real passion, we will never know, but for sure it was very well done! In any way, I didn't see them in scenes of that kind in the other movies, neither in that kind of characters! That is No 1 kiss in all over 4000 movies I've seen, honestly! However, to put aside the effect of the passionate kiss, the reason I hadn't recorded this movie in my memory before is in some unnecessary scenes, like that big stupid dinner, which has no meaning! There's no meaning especially when Gray(Jennifer) is talking nonsense, which is a really stupid part of the script! Sorry, Mrs. Grant! Also, I've seen some other photos taken during filming, which didn't find the place in final view! Maybe some parts are missing to drive us to that passion kiss scene and maybe the movie would be better if the author made some changes?! After all, it is how it is now and we have to deal with it!

I don't understand why Joaquin accepted this scenario?! It doesn't make any sense! He is a good actor, but here is totally pointless! He tried to look as Joker character as it should be, skinny, but didn't do anything with that, cause all the rest is fiasco! He showed he knows to sing? Ok, but what is the point of that?! I wonder whether that movie was made for promoting that Lady Gaga?! Don't know why, cause she already has popularity. Story? A great void! NOTHING! Maybe it is showing nostalgia for musical films of the 60s?! Nothing new in it! All old music hits which were 60 years ago performed in Hollywood movies or Las Vegas? I don't care that someone else sings them!!! Who cares? They? I don't care for them, cause they don't care for me. They see just their pockets! The movie is 0, not 1, but 0!!! BIG boring 0!
