Buttgereits sequel to NEKROMANTIK. A wonderful splatter/comedy about the love between a women and her dead boyfriend. This movie has some very cool scenes like a PORNOMOVIE DUBBING SCENE with homemade Special FX and a very funny refrigerator scene. A must for fans of the first movie and Joe D'Amatos BUIO OMEGA.
Buttgereits superb movie which includes a stunning piano score. Have you heard the SLAYER song NECROPHILIAC, well here is the movie. Some cool scenes are the rabbit skinning, decapitation, autopsy and sandwich scene. If you like this one you should check out Joe D'Amatos BUIO OMEGA.
Very good movie with excellent GOBLIN music. BEYOND THE DARKNESS is a tale of a disturbed young man and his love for the dead. All fans of Jörg Buttgereits wonderful NEKROMANTIK movies should love this one. NOT VERY GORY if you compare with newer goremovies, but gory for its time. Some highlights are a autopsy sequence, a eye-gouging and a gruesome dismemberment followed by cursory acid-bath antics.
If you like SEX, VIOLENCE and GORE, this movie is an essential purchase!
