I decided to see the film in spite of the reviews, mainly because of Morgan Freeman. I didn't see yet a bad film with this excellent actor. The film is good, not excellent, but good. No goofs (the position of the trigger is something quite normal after the drama implying Alec Baldwin). For such a film, it was very important to be credible, and it is. Everybody played well, good filming, credible scenario, well paced, interesting ending, ... How could some people grade it with 2/10? When speaking about Morgan Freeman and his option to play in such a film, you should think more: can such a star act crazy?

I saw the film twice, second time to analyse details and, secretely, to find some errors. I have found a few, taking into account my European culture, but I decided to award a 10, to increase the average which is too low. Very good script, very well managed film. Everything is there with a reason. Some said it is too long, but it is well paced and I didnt felt the passage of time. You can find something from Kill Bill or something from John Whick, but the film has its own personality, probably due to the Japanese&Koreean context. The last but not the least, good black humour. Or may be yellow?

One of the best Romanian films I have ever seen, even it was produced in 1999 and I saw it in 2023 on YouTube. It was helpful the contribution of many good film actors. The rhythm was very, something unusual for a Romanian film, keeping the viewer interested for 1 1/2 hours. Compared with other Romanian films, many awarded at film festivals, Famous Paparazzo does not try to be philosophical and to impose a thesis. It is only current life in a tumultuous society, at ten years after what is known as the Romanian Revolution. Personally, I would chose another ending, the opposite, which would be more natural.
