Radio hosts Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps pop up in this episode playing cops who get zapped by that weird sound gun. Mark and Brian were on KLOS radio in Los Angeles for a long time. Mark and Brian were staples of Los Angeles radio and made many friends in Hollywood and would spring up on various television and film projects.
Mark Thompson and his wife Linda eventually formed their own production company and produced films like 2:13 and Mother Ghost with Charles Durning. Sadly, Mark and Brian did not remain friends and they left the airways in 2019. They make a few appearances together but do not associate anymore. It's sad.

The correct title for this video is Untamed Passions. It has an "S" on the end. Not Passion.
I just watched this on the Boomerang channel and while I did enjoy this enough to recommend, it just wasn't the same. First, the costumes looked different and I had to think that the original suits that were worn was probably thrown out and new ones had to be made. Secondly, the voice of Allan Melvin (Drooper) disappears for about 15 minutes later in the show and you can't help but notice the new voice which sounds completely different! I really wonder what was going on during the making of this. I loved the Banana Splits as a kid and I did enjoy this, but it's obvious that this effort wasn't well thought out and appears like it was rushed onto the air.
