Starts off roughly, mostly due to its fairly mediocre performances that seemed to need to adjust to the script, seeing how once it got going, everyone seemed to find their place and make this soapy horror comedy work excellently.

Such a fun take on the organised lives of rich realtors living in Santa Clarita, overloading itself with problems and chaos, rapidly moving the series forward with plentiful unique insights, not to mention some great parenting.

Second season's easily the best, with the most climactic and spectacular finale of them all, whereas season one manages to, in spite of a bunch of flaws, set up a story as endlessly engaging and entertaining as this was. Loved season three as well, with a finale that was a bit of a rushed bummer (especially considering it was the final episode) yet maintained its rich comedy and lovable cast, with some otherwise amazing conclusions and a few seriously neat episodes. Glad they cancelled it, too, since in spite of how much I adore this show, I can't help but know that if they were to continue with it, they'd just take it too far.

Does tend to forget about some of its aspects, toying around with ideas and concepts without elaborating on and concluding them all off, but I will say that the cast is so exceptionally awesome and easy to attach to that a series as hilariously gruesome as this totally comforted me during the binge-watch. Love it so much, will always be one of my favourites.
