It is what it is, festive fodder, but my word it's a lot of fun. It's a pastiche/nod to 60s heist movies in places and there are some fantastic laugh out loud moments, the cast is great, good chemistry and very watchable. It's silly, of course it is, the title tells you that, but it's a worth a watch; if you want your Christmas movies to be highbrow (who does) you're in the wrong place. Have a mince pie, get a cuppa and enjoy the glorious nonsense.

You know exactly the movie it's going to be from the title. You know from the opening scenes. It's festive fodder, incredibly predictable and just a bit of silly fun. Nice to have protagonists that aren't twenty-somethings. It's a sweet little story, a Christmas comforting movie, I like to have it on even int he background when I'm decorating the house for Christmas, it's become a yearly watch. Not every movie has to be Oscar territory, take it for what it is and enjoy a bit of Christmas spirit.

Excellent show. Really gripping, you think you know what's going on then you don't, keeps you guessing, and you send yourself in circles trying to figure it out. One of Harlen Coben's best and a lot of that has to do with the cast, really well done. I've read a few reviews mentioning sound issues, I didn't find that to an issue personally. There are some plot points that are particularly ridiculous but it's not a documentary so who cares. Well worth a watch.
