I was one of the lucky ones that as a teenager in the 70's saw Car Wash without any deleted scenes. This version takes away a bit from the original. I must add however that it is still a bad flick man and still plays true today! This was all about what was going on at that time. It's not all that different from what is happening in today's world.
We still have black and white tension, married men cheating, girls willing to cheat with them, hookers, drag queens, couples fighting over their future, the good ol boy whose friends make him stay out all night, boy gets girl, and disgruntled employees. This movie was and always will be far out. Can you dig it? I knew that you could.
