Brad Pitt and Damson Idris share decent chemistry, but their arcs are straight out of the Racing Movie 101 playbook: grizzled mentor clashes with rebellious prodigy, complete with daddy issues and conflict that builds toward predictable high-speed peril. Kerry Condon brings warmth as the no-nonsense team engineer, though her role is sidelined for track action. Meanwhile, Tobias Menzies hams it up as the corporate antagonist demanding "win at all costs."
The racing almost makes up for it-cars scream through Monaco and Baku with beautiful drone shots-but the drama between laps feels like placeholder dialogue. Even Lewis Hamilton's cameo as himself can't distract from the undercooked rivalry subplot.
F1 2025 is a solid popcorn flick for racing enthusiasts, with hyper-realistic sound design and camera work that puts you right in the driver's seat, but those hoping for a gripping narrative might leave the theater feeling like they've seen this race before.

Let's be honest-this movie is bad. Really bad. But in the spirit of fairness, here's why it barely scrapes past a one-star rating:
Mahershala Ali's Dignified Presence - Even trapped in this mess, the man oozes class. His performance is the only thing here with any weight, proving he can elevate *anything*... even a script this lazy.
No Chris Pratt - No offense to the man, but his absence means no forced "cool guy" one-liners or eyebrow-raptor team-ups.
One Surprisingly Decent Action Scene - There's one sequence (you'll know it when you see it) where the movie briefly remembers how to stage excitement. It's not enough, but it's something.
That's it. That's the good. The rest? A reheated, CGI-bloated snoozefest with forgettable characters, laughable logic, and zero suspense. The dinosaurs feel weightless, the plot is a checklist of franchise clichés, and the ending teases a sequel nobody will want.

With its breathtaking world-building, haunting soundtrack, and unique art style, the series excels at creating an atmosphere of wonder and dread. The bond between the main characters, Riko and Reg, is heartfelt, and their determination to uncover the secrets of the Abyss makes for a compelling narrative.
However, the show's biggest strength-its unflinching exploration of suffering-can also be its biggest weakness. At times, the graphic depictions of pain and trauma feel excessive, bordering on gratuitous, which may alienate some viewers. Additionally, while the lore is fascinating, the pacing can be inconsistent, with some episodes dragging while others rush through crucial developments.
Despite its flaws, it is a memorable experience, and worth watching.
