I haven't decided if I like this or not. Billy Bob is excellent despite looking like a seedy barfly. The hyper sexualised and annoying wife and daughter are truly dreadful and add absolutely nothing to the series. Their scenes with the folk in the old age home are frankly condescending and patronising - the elderly are presented as caricatures. In fact, just write them both out completely and give Demi Moore a bigger part.

The loser son is also painful to watch. Interestingly, he doesn't have the perfect white teeth so typical of Americans who love to flash them on screen.

A pleasant surprise was Andy Garcia showing up in the last episode. He gets the 6th star.

It's early Monday morning and I started watching this before midnight last night. Well, call me a masochist. Why do i do these things to myself I ask. I don't know any of the actors except for Billy Baldwin who is interchangeable with his older brother in their awfulness. How did they age so badly??? Anyway, this was so bad that I'm just filling up the character requirements now. I skipped the part where the male lead was going to describe some horrific puppy abuse. Anyone who can think of appalling scenes like that should be strung up - only twisted people want to watch that . Hard No.

Just sit back, ignore the technicalities and inconsistencies and go for the ride.

I think the movie was about 20 minutes too long and the non linear timeline was irritating. You have to pay close attention in case you miss something and the movie then just becomes confusing.

This is the second movie in a row I've watched with a skinny "heroine" in the lead and this was the better of the two. You have to suspend belief when you watch these types of movies or you'll lose your mind.

I enjoyed the two hunky male leads more. Lucky Anna.

Even Helen Mirren was enjoyable, but she has to stop with the dodgy accents.
