While there were a few "good moments", overall, the film suffered from the same problem many action films of this particular genre have.
The "heroes" aren't the smartest people out there. I realize that some obvious choices by the main characters must be made to move the story along. But most people would not make some of the really foolish choices that so many movie characters make.
If you are being pursued by villains who are trying to kill you, and you get the advantage over one of them, why wouldn't you make sure they are dead before you move on? I see it in so many movies. The hero incapacitates one of the bad guy, then runs off. Even if you are a good person who doesn't believe in killing another person, if that person has demonstrated that they are going to kill you, why wouldn't you kill them first? If I were being chased by killers and I knock one unconscious, I would grab the nearest blunt object and insure that they wouldn't be following me later. If not kill them, at least crush both legs so they will never be able to use them. Or destroy their kneecaps so they won't be able to stand.
If you kill a bad guy and they drop their gun, why doesn't anyone ever pick up the weapon??? That would be item 1 on my list. Item 2 would be to check how much ammo there was in the weapon and search the corpse for reloads.
If you don't do everything possible (and logical) to survive the scenario, you don't deserve to make it. By the end of the film there were only 2 people who I cared about enough to hope they survived. The rest.. Not so much.
