I absolutely loved it. I personally thought the writing was excellent, I was biting my nails the whole time, and I really felt deeply for the characters too. We also laughed quite a lot, the old actors are AMAZING. It's definitely worth a watch, finally a Hungarian film that's worth the ticket!!
If you love cinema that transcends the genre itself, you need to watch this. I need to watch it again, there are so many details I missed the first time. Marvelous!!!
It feels like the Netflix algoritm wrote this film, took Love actually bits and Die Hard catchphrases (and a bunch of other references) and jammed it together in a Christmas movie. If it's the case, I'm impressed. Actors are good, But chemistry doesn't really happen between the 2 main characters imho.
